Paintless Dent Repair WITHOUT Detailing? NO WAY!

OK- Listen up: This BLOG brought to you by The Superior Auto Institute
DETAILING IS NOT DEAD!!! or, An alternative Title to this budget B Movie would read: "Get Retail PDR Cash ONLY with Detailing".... K- get my drift? This blog is to pub Detailing. Why? Because without it, ANY Retail PDR Marketing program will not produce big $$. But WHY? OK- lets consider who is the nationwide PDR Retail household name or brand... hmmm........ hmmmmmmmmm........... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm,.......... This BLOG brought to you by The Superior Auto Institute
Ok-NO ONE. Right?? Right. NO ONE has YET to capture ANY branding for Paintless Dent REpair in the retail market;. W H Y..? Because it take $$$$$$$$$$, and BRAINS......and so far, no one with both has done it. This BLOG brought to you by The Superior Auto Institute
Im not going to say I have either, but I darn well sure know I dont have part A of the equation, or I would be swinging the bat at this moment for the PDR Fence and trying to go yard with a PDR Retail homer. The Only company to my knowledge is Dent Wizard, (aka Dead Lizard), but they fell flat on their faces. They tried to do an Ihop style retail look, spent some money, and the stores went poo-poo all across the great USA. Why? A) They had the cash, man, Im tellin ya. B) If you look at the above equation, maybe they were missing part B. I guarantee it WAS part B they missed (and luckily, still miss). A bunch of Cox Comm corporate brass have NO idea about the art and savoifaire of PDR and will never get it, thankfully. So, as of this writing, no one else has the cash to get it going. Oh yeah, Dent Pro tried to do a California semi retail campaign through AAA (auto Club). Did it work? Ill let you figure it out... >:) So here we are boys-no one can figure out what to do to get retail customers. Everyone has tried flyers (doesntwork) Everyone has thought about radio (doesntwork) " " Cable TV (doesntwork) etc etc. So, if retail is huge, but unmarketable, what next? Easy. Go to the customers who actually WANT PDR, on a high probability scale. Are they car wash customers? Heck no. Cheap Bastards (like me) wont even drop a dime to have a dent removed..they want their car washed for $8.95, not 80.95 like a detailer might do. Blues Clue #2: DETAIL customers are almost ALWAYS PDR customers. So, with that, you market to the detailing customer, and voila, you have PDR customers. Yes, it IS that easy. BUT, those customers initially WANT DETAILING. So either coop with a detailer (good one, kid, not some POS (peice of shi*), or do it yourself. IF DW and DP had offered/led with detailing, and then marketed recon services above and over the tops of the customers heads, they would be reaping huge rewards as we speak.
